Kate -> compás metronome (Jul. 22 2003 12:04:42)

Hey this is my first post [:D] so I hope it works. I haven't had time to explore, pretty busy with the US tour but will post about that when I know exact dates and times. So far we are Detroit, Chicago, Madison, Toronto and Indiana. [:)]

My question is has anyone heard of this guy or tried ou his new invention, a flamenco metronome !!!!

Also quick question for Simon or anyone who knows the answer, can I have these messages sent direct to my mail box ? That would be very helpful in keeping up with you guys.

saludos
Kate

I knew you'd ask. Click on "Subscribe" to get replies to individual messages or "My Subscription" at the top, to manage all your subscriptions. You can subscribe to the whole forum if you want.

Unlike MSN, you cannot reply to the email and get it posted, you'll have to click on the link it sends you and login to the forum. I am working on it, but it's very insecure for the forum. MSN could do it because they run Passport in parallel.

Hear, hear!

That's the 'MundoBeat'. You'll get mixed reviews on it. I like it, but it's a pricey little gadget, has an appetite for batteries, and only has one volume setting, LOUD. Aside from that it's got a lot of preset "World" rhythms including a fairly decent selection flamenco rhythms. And if you don't like these preset rhythms, you can program your own beat settings. It doesn't program contra beats, though.
