Hi, are there different Rafael Cortes models?
I thought there is only one model.
(The one for 2400 Euros @ Mundo-flamenco)

there are 2 different models (classes).
the regular class and the top class. you may recognize the top class watching the label. it says "especial".
furthermore the top class got a rosette with roses.
as far as i know there exist only 2 of the top class. one is rafa playing and this is the other one.
in total the top class model is a class better and therefore more expensive.

Ah yes. I recognized it just before you posted as i was comparing the labels from your site and from Mundo.
So the quality grade must be something like the 1F EXTRA Model from Hnos. Sanchis Lopez. I see.
What about the sound ? Is it also like the old Condes ? Do you have any sound sample ?
And you live in Bonn right?

sorry, no sound sample.

right, the model is somehow inbetween a 1f extra and the top model from ricardo sanchis carpio.
the sound is somewhat comparable to an old conde. smooth, brilliant bases. easy to play with a great attack.
the model was constructed for rafa intending to sound similar to a conde and not like a typical hermanos sanchis lopez.
however i am staying in bonn - just come over from frankfurt and test it.

hi rudy,

the first owner of this guitar - the one who ordered and picked pick up the guitar at faustino - is a classical
guitar player. he just implemented a zero fret later on.
