Miguel de Maria -> Stainless steel nail implants (Mar. 18 2004 15:21:44)

After all this Lume, acrylic, salon gel and glue + toilet paper, I decided to take the plunge. I went to the Scottsdale Cosmetic Surgery Clinic and got my nails removed and surgically replaced with stainless steel ones. They are attached to the bone with little staples and are much stronger than real nails or even acrylics. There is no problem getting a very bright sound playing with my new stainless steel nails. Actually I have to be careful with my golpes because it'd be real easy to put a dent in the top of my Vicente Carillo. One side benefit of this is whole deal is that if a bad guy were to show up, I could just Wolverine him.

Good job, Mike...that's my next nail project! The one draw back of those steel nails, it's kinda hard on the strings! But, use the strings that banjo players use, and no problemo!
