			  | I have the same problem on a 67 manuel de la Chica but the golpeador is transparent (although I'm not sure it's acetate -- it seems to be less flexible and harder than modern transparent golpeadors). I think it was put on with hide glue (???)

It started to peel up like yours in about 1980 and I had a competent luthier in a Maryland suburb stick it back down (he had worked on one of Segovia's guitars during one of his Wash DC tours, so I figured I could trust him). He didn't take it off the guitar, rather worked glue into the space where it ad peeled up, and as a result the glue under he golpeador looks weird. It is studk down, but there are air spaces and bubbles.
