I tried the tanguillos video and it works. The clip itself is also fine and informative.

The only thing I have my problems with is the fact that your page forces my browser to resize. But I have already told you this.

Thanks for all that's there. It would be also good to provide pdf files of all falsetas, since not everybody has guitar pro. I do, but there are people who don't.

It´s a good and helpful job!

I would suggest to take the arpegio lesson off or make a new one. The way you show it, it is nothing special to flamenco. It directly reminds me to a total beginner lesson of "how to play guitar".

What I dislike is the slow server, the downloads achieved just 45 kbit/s - so it´s a long run (from Germany)...

Regarding the provided format of PDF I agree with Georg as for I´m not using Guitar Pro.

I've only had a quick glance so far. The material looks great, but it's really tricky to get to it. I think you should consider making the webpage entirely css+xhtml based. It would make everything much smoother, and manageable imho. As it is, the whole site is quite heavy to load, and it's difficult to save links.. (the videofiles are large, they need to be saved properly). And also, the scrolling mechanism on the lessons page didn't work for me so i had to make a big selection box to scroll down (i am a 3 button purist, no scroll wheel).

There are some unwritten laws that need to be respected so people aren't put off. Not resizing the active browser is one. Another one is: no popups. I had to wrestle my popup blocker to download the rasgueado video. Flash/SWF is alright, but still.. less is more imo. sorry, if this comes across harsh, i think your work on teaching material is great and you could be up to something really great with this site. it just deserves to be presented in a user friendly way. and think about scalability.. the present format doesn't scale too well, it will quickly become cumbersome when you feel like adding more content.

lightweight design can be really beautiful you know. gif is a perfect format for non photographic graphics, png is lovely for the more important/photographic pictures, css and xhtml combination can be flashy too and there's dreamweaver and other tools to aid developing it. even oldschool pure html can go a long way.

romerito, the arpeggio lesson is great, it's one of the clearest descriptions i've seen. IMO you can't see these basic things explained and showed too many times, regardless of which level you've reached.. there always seems to be small things to improve or be reminded of, and sometimes just getting confirmation that you're not doing it all wrong feels reassuring, and helps you play securely. the same goes for the rasgueado lesson, although it was quite dark on my monitor.

solea material was really nice as well, i recognize and play a lot of it, but the variations you do are nice, so i'll look into those.

well, cheers! and thanks for sharing

The intro of the tanguillos reminds me of a song, "7 days" Craig David. Thank you for sharing romerito.
