I must say that this thread has been good/interesting reading, though I must admit that I am happy with the techniques that I have. They give me good service, but it is always a pleasure to read from you all, and at the risk of lurking I had to say that. I do read these posts with amazement over all the great ideas, and sometimes it's quite hard to fathom where else such fluidity in context could exzist except here on the foro or perhaps somewhere in a crowd of talkative guitar players! Thankyou Jason. I just don't have the speed, so I didn't get the pleasure of viewing the video. Maybe someday in the future I will be lucky enough to have that option. Marvelous posts.....
Gary

Thanks Gary. It has been a fun thread, although I managed to get way off topic and into talking about recording gear. Fast internet connection are becoming more and more the norm, but they aren't free, so I totally understand. When I teach in person and on my website too as has happened here, the lesson is often a catalyst for a discussion that brings many things to light other than the lesson itself. Glad you decided to jump in and share your thoughts.

I sometimes get the idea that I am going to upgrade to a higher speed, and then I tell myself, 'the internet is for reading,' though I know that not to be true, and, I wish that I......oh well, the internet is for reading, [:D] though I am missing out on a lot of stuff, I get by without the speed. I'm sure the lessons are quite good, so keep it up! I did also enjoy the diversion, which is what I am doing right now. But then, again, it always seems to happen that way here.
