Ailsa -> how to reduce video file size? (Oct. 5 2007 19:54:05)

Hey all you technically minded guys out there,[;)]

I'm doing a gig tomorrow night and thought I'd like to put some footage onto youtube - but I just know it's going to be too big, and I don't know how to reduce it. The max for youtube is 100mb. A dance I recorded recently is only 2 mins and that was 74mb, so goodness knows what my 7minutes dance is going to be tomorrow! The only software I've got is what came with the camera - ImageMixer 3. Any tips please? Pretty please![:)][:)]

You could use some of those "video splitters". You get numerous results if you type it in Google. I think it's the only way.

If you have Windows XP try the free Movie Maker that should be included. Import the video and then make a movie (WMV) - you can choose the fps and bandwidth to suit your size but will lose quality.
