It has come to decision time. two guitars, one price, one thing separates them..... aesthetics. Damned shame they both sound awesome in their own way. the deciding factor..... the ol' topper. the other is nothing special, but I'm looking for an opinion on this feller.

HI
The headstock is a good indication of the overall care that this luthier has taken over the guitar hence would go for this guitar but then again if the sound was poor....................!

If the other guitar looks exactly like the Conde Media luna, then i would buy the other guitar.[:D][:D]

You may be shocked and awed to hear this, but my love for Ottmar Liebert aside, I'm actually more of a traditionalist and I think that the coolness on this headstock actually detracts from the guitar's aesthetic when playing flamenco. Hmm, well, I guess it depends what you're playing. Not for your typical flamenco solos--for nouveau/nuevo/fusion/wtfyoucallit, maybe, but that's my gut :) Actually, it would be pretty fun to play a bulerias with that thing...but not a solea, I think. Unless it's a solea with sufficient edge.

hey, long story short, it's your guitar, your opinion's the most important one!

.... I live in chicago. lol. any self respecting flamenco would spot me from 100 meters. there's no chance I will ever be considered authentic, so I figure what the hell, get something that looks snazzy, but not as excessive as pedro maldonado's lol

i like that headstock, but really cant you choose from the two from sound or action? if you cant they both must be great guitars. i know...just buy both[:D]

yeah i know, its a ridiculous predicament. I'm nuts about both. I would buy both, but, I don't have like 8 grand lol, unless you want to start a charitable fund lol

It kind of looks like Tom's diablo headstock. I like it. I like the dark tuners/rollers too, as well as the decorated bevel. But as James points out, it would be cool to see pics of both. Or, sound samples maybe? Oh heck, why don't you just send both guitars to everyone so we can really give some 'good' advice. [;)][sm=Smiley Guitar.gif]
