i feel a sudden urge of nerdiness welling up! it's actually 8.192MB since a KB is 1024 Bytes. everything in a computer works in numbers that are power 2, that's why you always see figures 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024 etc. so, in a binary world 1024 is a round number.. also Mb and MB are different animals. b for bit, B for Byte Byte = 8 bits. don't encourage me, i might start drawing diagrams of ripple-carrey adders and crap. my mind is polluted by useless computer knowledge..
