i know someone here will be able to help me[:)] if anyone can give me any info on this conde model i would really appreciate it. Its a '67 blanca with pegs. The label says 'gravina 7 Atocha 53'.

Not sure, but my guess is this a student guitar made by an outside contractor. Perhaps a student model made FOR the Gravina shop??? Not sure when they separated. Obviously this was not a signed guitar so not "A model" as they refer to them nowadays. I think it looks very cool. A model guitars from this period probably go for 5K to 7K, so like nowadays the going rate might be for this thing under 2K. Just a guess. Call Guitar Salon.

I'm not really a Conde nut but I have bought and played a lot of guitars in my time.
The labeling around this time was variable so this gives little help for providing a definitive model number for this guitar. I have seen at least 3 different labels with the Atocha address on from around this period – 2 of them also have the Gravina address but in different layouts.
So what was happening in the Conde dynasty in 1967 at the time that this guitar was made?
Julio Conde (the youngest of the Conde brothers) was running the Atocha shop (opened in the 1950s and an outlet for selling guitars rather than constructing them). Julio never established any kind of reputation as a luthier. Faustino and Mario were collaborating on building the best guitars at the Gravina shop. The half moon headstock for these guitars was well established by this time. Mario had not yet opened the Felipe V shop (this opened in 1979). Mario’s sons (Felipe and Mario) who now run the Felipe V enterprise were probably still at school. The Conde brothers also had a factory in Pozuelo de Alarcón (c 1957-1968) and it is possible that your guitar was constructed here. Just to confuse matters some of these guitars had labels with the Pozuelo address in Calle Santiago Maganto.
As to quality, I have played many unsigned guitars from this period and found them very good for the sound and the ‘feel’ representing the traditional kind of flamenco guitar. Some of the cheaper guitars of this period had 3 piece backs and yours with its 2 piece looks as if it is towards the higher end of the unsigned models.
If you contact Mario Jnr and Felipe they usually reply but even they find it difficult to identify guitars from this period with any precision.
