HemeolaMan -> Breaking news: PDL confirmed cyborg (Aug. 25 2007 6:05:45)

in a report by A.P. News and World Report in collaboration with the Associated Press:
transcript:

"This evening we bring you a shocking story about world famous flamenco guitar virtuoso, Paco De Lucia. Paco, famous for his solo works and collaborative efforts with artists such as John McLaughlin and Al DiMeola, is perhaps most noted for his brilliant technical ability. Often deemed "One of the greatest guitarists ever to walk the face of the Earth," it is no doubt that such intense scrutiny should surround these controversial new findings. This reporter takes you in for the Real truth Behind the world's fastest picado.

At approximately 20:43 on August the 24th, Paco De Lucia was sighted out back of a Madriad tablao engaging in suspicious activities. At first it appeared that he was urinating on the wall of the building, but as sources later discovered, he was actually changing his oil

Gaspard Jimenez, a local dancer, witnessed the event "It first seemed like he was just taking a leak between sets, like he had too much to drink and was out for some air. But after a while things seemed suspicious, nobody can pee for that long! I came over to see if he was okay, only to find that he was peeing out machine oil! I was aghast, horrified even!"

Expert technician and fellow flamenco guitarist Gerardo Nunez postulated on the subject, "Well, Paco has always had a very precise, very clean rasgueo. His picado has also been considered "super human". In fact the story makes a great deal of sense, there are no eye witness accounts of Paco as a child. They say he practiced 12 to 15 hours a day, which, in light of the present situation, seems highly improbable. It is my opinion that Paco was originally constructed about 20 or so years after his supposed "birth" as a means to scrape up some more income for the family. After several revisions to his exterior to make him look more aged, I think he could've passed on unnoticed for quite a few more years. I have always said he had machine gun rasgueos."

There are several other controversial theories surrounding this discovery which you can read more about if you log on to our web site at www.ap.org
