Ron.M -> Question? (Jul. 16 2007 19:20:44)

Why do women always spend money faster than you can earn it?

JBASHORUN -> RE: Question? (Jul. 16 2007 19:40:40)

LOL, this sounds like a question for Ailsa, Romanza, Buleria, Kate, etc. I dare not answer it... controversial religious threads are one thing, but a woman's wrath is another! [:D]

Btw, I was reading some of the German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer's work recently, and something he said made me laugh:

"One needs only to see the way she is built to realize that woman is not intended for great mental or for great physical labour. She expiates the guilt of life not through activity but through suffering, through the pains of child-birth, caring for the child and subjection to the man, to whom she should be a patient and cheering companion. Great suffering, joy, exertion, is not for her: her life should flow more quietly, trivially, gently than the man's without being essentially happier or unhappier".

He does go on to make points about why women are best suited to nursing and teaching roles due to their "childish, short-sighted and silly" nature, but I think his views are probably best not dwelled on. Schopenhauer is considered "a great mind" by many, but I can only think that his perspective on the fairer sex was strongly influenced by the patriarchal spirit of his era.

Quite right. I think men should do all the cleaning, ironing, shopping etc. I prefer my life to "flow more quietly, trivially, gently".

HA! BELIEVE THAT YOU'LL BELIEVE ANYTHING!!!!

[:D]yeah and theyll sprinkle his ashs with a 50/50 mix of anthrax over some city.

sorry that was a little bit dark humour. but ron started it. with all that technology i thought they would have caught or killed him by now. maybe hes better as an elusive demon so bush can use him to validate his war of terror.

Well, from a question about women to Osama bin Laden in a few short posts. How quickly innocence is lost. It's just like Eve tempting Adam with the apple in a modern day setting. [;)][:D][:D]

If you kill the bogeyman how can you scare the kids into doing what you want ?

Interesting stuff Bash, and possibly true.

I'm not being sexist here, but just trying to pass on a funny story...

In the sixties, the black revolutionary Stokey Carmichael was once asked by a bra-burning feminist what the women's position should be on this movement.

To which he replied "Horizontal baby...Horizontal"[:D][:D]

Ron.M -> RE: Question? (Jul. 17 2007 18:25:13)

To counter my last post...
This woman was asked why she was so bad at parking in the supermarket car park and kept denting the car.
To which she replied " I dunno, I guess I'm just not good at judging stuff... I mean HE keeps saying that "THAT'S" ten inches. [:D]
