As a sub-note to this.. I once had really crippling back-pain. I went to the Doctor (a very young guy doing his pre-work stuff), who told me that he couldn't see anything wrong and thought I'd maybe strained a muscle or something and not to worry. About a week later, when I couldn't even stand up straight without agony, I drove, doubled over to a private Oesteopath, who examined me and said no problem, there was a simple"misalignment" in my spine that he could fix. He proceeded to pummel me and stretch me for 10 minutes and then charged me £35, saying that if there were any more problems, then to come back next week and he'd give me another treatment at £35. Anyway...I still woke up in agony.... I ended up going to the Doctor again and insisted on seeing a Senior Member of the practice. He was a bit wary about it all and referred me to the City Hospital. The X-Rays revealled that I had a large and growing cyst in my back that I'd got from a skelf of wood while crawling around my loft, laying insulating foam. I had to go in and have a surgical operation to remove it. The Hospital Doctor said later when I woke up, that if had it burst, I'd probably have gotten Septecimia and maybe died.... The message.... Be wary of "experts"! .... (IMO! [:D]) cheers, Ron
