Hi guitardode, Thanks for the compliments. That DeVoe actually belongs to Patrick Harris, a member of this foro. The craftsmanship of a DeVoe is top notch. Come to think of it, recently, I've noticed that the craftsmanship from American builders is very high. Not to say it's not high quality on Spanish makers. It is as well on some. The majority of my sales are from Spanish builders and from time to time I see craftsmanship that is ok but not great. However, of the few American builders I carry, I see very nice work. John Shelton (Shelton-Farretta) a fine craftsmen. As is DeVoe, Green, Tom Rodriguez. I don't know why this is. Perhaps because they build less a year or at a time than some Spanish builders? Then again, DeVoe builds about 20 a year which IMO, is quite a bit for one guy. However, Ramirez builds quite a few and I think they have some of the best craftsmenship. As did Tezanos Perez (while they were still together) Anyway, this is a discussion/topic all to it's own. Don't want to hijack your topic and switch it to another [&:] Happy playing man and post a clip if you ever get a chance.
