Sadly a tiny proportion of my gigs these days are flamenco shows, but here are a few pics I have kicking around.
No apologies for the cheesyness, I'm afraid [;)]
Here's the first, the gig was on the sun terrace of a posh hotel in the middle of the countryside. I'm on the right sporting the John McLaughlin look (it was REALLY hot that day). Mercedes (nearest me) has now moved to Marbella but I still work with Lisa, the other dancer.
We tried to take a promo shot in the dressing room before this next gig, but the quality is naff. I look meaner in black though:
And finally one of me with Mercedes in Britain's favourite 'slice of Spain' restaurant chain, La Tasca's.
Is that a duende moment, or did she just whack me over the head with her fan?
