Hi Anders - I have a bunch of pics of building it at http://www.aselia.com/n85ae.html It was built from what's called by the FAA a 51% kit. Which means 51% or more of the plane must be built by the builder. As you can see in the images, the parts arrived in an enormous crate, and I built it in my garage. I was previously in aviation in the US Navy, and my Dad has a doctorate in aero engineering, so it's not a great stretch (to me) that I built it. The plane has a 125 hp fuel injected 4 cylinder engine, and weigh's about 950 lb's empty. It is considered a STOL aircraft (Short Takeoff and Landing). I get airborne in about 40-50 meters, with landing distance about double that. I also have float attach points on it for flying off water. Cruise speed is 120mph with top speed being 140mph. It carries 4 hours fuel, but I never fly beyond 3 hours as I don't like running out of gas in planes ... Compared to production planes, it is pretty similar to a SuperCub, which is the high performance version of the Cub. I live in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, if you're ever in town I would be happy to give you a ride. Jeff
