Tenshu -> Maybe the world is a good place after all... (Jan. 31 2004 17:39:21)

I saw some low points of humanity in my young life: been cheated, been backstabbed, been hurt, been told lies and done it all back twice. I don't believe in God, and I believe existence is overrated.

I was just listening to Que venga el Alba by Camaron, Paco and Tomatito, and I have to admit I had difficulty swallowing when Camaron started his copla, por bulerias. After I regained consciousness, my guitar teacher/life mentor's phrase came into mind. Maybe the world is a good place after all.

As long as Paco and Tomatito still cry through their guitarras for El Camaron de la Isla. As long as 9 year old gitanos sing por seguiriyas. As long as excessive amounts of chocolate is being eaten by dogs, while someone is trying to learn his accompaniment por bulerias. As long as cante flamenco exists, everything is good and pure in the end.

This quote describes my feelings...
quote:

Camaron for Paco on Arte y Majestad: Arza! Arza! Arza Arza!
Isn't that the most beautiful thing you ever heard?

Anyway, spastic ramblings in this useless post. I always feel a bit romantic late at night...

Maybe, just maybe you're right.
