Paleto -> RE: Where to find Paco Cepero and Manolo Franco's CDs (May 10 2007 22:37:49)

James, I only know of one solo recording that Manolo Franco did, it was called Aljibe and it was about 1987. A couple of those songs were transcribed on his Encuentro video and in the book. I don't think it was ever released on cd, only LP and cassette. A few of the songs from Aljibe are on the 3 Guitarras Flamencas cd he shared with Jose Antonio Rodriguez and Quique Paredes, which if you search, you can still find. I think http://www.luthiermusic.com in New York still has a few. MP3s of Aljibe have been made, I can send them to you if you want. As for Paco Cepero, I think you have been pointed in the right direction. I think the earlier of his two recent recordings is almost sold out, but you can still find it. You should know you can check these websites for any flamenco recordings (Over the years, I have ordered from almost all of them and had good service): http://www.flamencon.com http://www.luthiermusic.com http://www.deflamenco.com http://www.elflamencovive.com http://www.esflamenco.com http://www.flamenco-world.com http://www.flamenco-news.com http://www.gongdiscos.com/ http://www.etnomusic.com/cast/generos.php?IdGenero=33&nombre=FLAMENCO https://www.danzeffguitars.com/showitem.cfm?menu=cds&type=cds http://www.mclojadiscos.com/ http://www.flamencoexport.com/ http://www.compas-sur.com/index.php?subcategoria=entra_tienda&len=1 There are more, but its taking too much time. Good luck, -Anthony
