waiting for me!

(sorry, for some reason, i couldn't get the picture to come up on the thread)

anyways, yea this cejilla is great AND it's from one of the foro members: Mr. Tony Arnold.
what a great piece of art that functions just as well as it looks! the peg turns smoothly and holds firmly and i can truly appreciate all of the details. Take this for example: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y300/jrabbani0/DSC00637.jpg
see that notch right there? in the middle? that prevents the thick string to move around when putting th peg in place. little things like that i can truly appreciate. and the string that goes from the body to the peg is great! i have had many of these traditional cejillas with a guitar string and they would always snap on me. but this one seems like it will take some time for it to snap or break. anyways, thought i would share this with you guys, you should all get one because this thing is so cheap for its superior quality ($40) I'm sure the price will go up! (ok, well not sure, but still, this is a great product for its price [;)])
best

jrabbani,

The cejilla is beautiful as I previously had mentioned in another thread. But dude! make up your mind. Do you want a blanca or a negra???? [:D][sm=lol.gif][:D]

how dose your guitar sound like?!?!?!

she has a great sound. a deep tone with little, but very "flamenco", sustain. quite loud too.

Juben --

Thanks for the positive review of the cejilla. I guess (because I play myself) having a cejilla that works right is the most important to me, too. I appreciate that you noticed the details.

I searched long and hard for the perfect string. I hate fiddling around with leather pads when I'm playing, so I wanted a simple string that was soft enough and fat enough not to damage the guitar neck, but thin enough to go through the peg without weakening it. When I finally found the right source I made a bunch of prototypes and played on them for a year before deciding the string was ok to sell. If the string breaks, send it back and I will replace it free.

But I HAVE to see more of that guitar! Who made it? Can you post a clip so we can hear it?

Tony Arnold

i don't have a mic, but I plan on getting one this summer. once I'm finished with school and able to practice more, i can post a clip of her [;)]

thanks again!
