Hola Peter Glad you found it. What I like about the little books of local distribution is that they give an insight into what life was like for the flamencos. And usually it was horrible. With the enormous changes in Andaluz society it is little wonder that flamenco is changing beyond recognition. Another good one is the biography of Chato de a Isla, a great and underrated singer. But what a childhood: "Bueno, pues Concha, mi mare, tuvo veintecuatro hijos....y es que, unos con meses, y otros con un año o dos, se murieron casi tós mis hermanos. Y sólo quedamos cuatro, dos hembras y dos varones." This is the lifestyle which produced cante jondo: little wonder that it is being replaced by flamenquito [:(] Suerte Sean
