Here's a novel idea - what about a forum thread on the best forum thread?? (Yes, I do have time on my hands!) From recent ones my choice would be:

1. The dance accompaniment thread - because I thought a lot of good info got shared in a positive and helpful (to beginners) way.

2. The capo thread. I just loved it. (and Anders heart shaped one) It went on and on (and on!) and has led me to accost unknown guitarists and show off my in depth capo identifying abilities. Please do it again sometime!

Karenanne - time on hands - should be doing work for meeting and don't want to!

The best threads are the upload threads in my opinion. Its most interesting no matter how good or bad.

Just read the thread Dominic posted about Juan Martin - I'd no idea he was so controversial (Juan that is, not Dominic). Anyway, just reading it through made me laugh out loud in the office and now everyone is wondering what I'm up to.[:D]

Good choice, Dominic - I'd forgotten all those 'let's throw the teddies out of the pram' Juan Martin threads. Always a good antitdote for a quiet forum :

well i dont think that worked[:D] no it has to come naturally you cant force it. We can all only live in hope that soon we will have another epic thread like that. Its not a matter of if, but when[:D] there were some bueties in off topic but i think simon pruned off anything that was more than 1 month old recently (thats o.k simon we forgive u[:)])
