Thats pretty good! It appears to be a bit like an upside-down steel drum, except played with the hands. its got a nicer, more "mellow" tone too, IMO.

I've heard it live once and it's really fantastic sounding instrument.

Yes, it is a "recent development", you can buy it in a little factory in Switzerland.

Here is some more about it:

yea, its sounds pretty odd. and its pronouced "hong" not "hang" at least thats what the internet tells me [;)]

It sounds beautiful.
It seems to be tuned in the mixo-lydian mode which always sounds very folk like and relaxed.
