Check out La Chumbera in the Sacromonte, Sat nights, €6, and good flamenco. Also Emilio Maya is giving intimate concerts at his school, near SAn Migiel BAjo, Albaicin on Friday nights, €10 and sangria. Also check out Upsetter on the Darro next to laza Nueva as they have many local artists performing there, El Niño de las Almendras is worth catching, also Emilio does some concerts there. There are always posters round town advertising this club. Also the Peña Plateria although it is members only often let the public in on Sat and Thursday nights. And just for the experience try a tablao, I reccomend Cueva del Rocio. I was there the other night for an all night party with the Maya family who run it and they have some great performers, though you may not like the tourist ambience, its where many flamenco pay their dues.
