Sorry but I think I may have listed this in the wrong thread. Please forgive duplication.

Has anybody had any experience with model 30F, R.E Brune, American Luthier.
I have the opportunity to try one and hope you can offer me some advice. It is
a 1989 model. Described as "well matured" in excellent condition and completely hand made.

Much appreciated.

September bookings now being taken for property in Valencia region of Spain, excellent rates and discounts for foro members available. See my web-space

TANúñez -> RE: R.E Brune (Mar. 26 2007 20:48:05)

If I'm not mistaken, this is one of his guitars that were made for him by a Japanese firm. I don't think they are produced anymore. They are good. I believe ToddK plays one of these.

Anders Eliasson -> RE: R.E Brune (Mar. 27 2007 8:07:34)

I dont know this exact model, but Brune is considered to be one of the finest builders in the world. However, I´m not sure the seller is willing to drive to Alicante to show it to you. I think you know what I mean.[;)]

Zorro02 -> RE: R.E Brune (Mar. 27 2007 19:00:56)

Hi, yes you are right. I believe he commisioned a Japanese Luthier and fully endorsed this work. What effect does this have upon the guitars' quality and resale value and do you know why Brune did this??

Zorro02 -> RE: R.E Brune (Mar. 27 2007 19:56:36)

Thanks Anders.
I am at the stage in my playing where I am ready to invest in a guitar that will last me a lifetime. I want to make sure that the guitar that I buy is the right one for me, I know you can appreciate that. The task is not easy by any means, I have a number of guitars on my shortlist, one of which is one of your blancas!
I did not buy the ABF because it just did not feel right and because of the help/suggestions from foro members.
Distance is no problem, time is however!
Thanks for your advice.

Yes, I know perfectly well what you are talking about. Unfortunately we are all in the same story making get togethers more an more difficult.

Its difficult to find an instrument that last a lifetime. We change taste during our life, and since guitars are so relatively cheap, we allow ourselves to change instrument just for the adventure. When I played classical violin i didn´t have that problem because I knew that it would completely ruin me to buy a better instrument[;)]

ToddK -> RE: R.E Brune (Apr. 1 2007 7:16:10)

It was nice talking with you Zorro, and i hope you enjoy your
30F as much as i have enjoyed mine.
Its such a wonderful instrument.
Best of luck!
TK

Hi Guys,

I am so happy to have found this forum to tell you the truth I almost gave up looking for this guitar but this forum has got me going again. I’ve been looking for a BRUNE 30 F for the last 6 year to no avail! Does anyone know where I am able buy this guitar from? Or does anybody want to sell theirs 30 f ?

FYI:Zorro I can certainly tell you that without a question of doubt that R.E BRUNE Flamenco guitars are the best in the world period! (This is not debateable! nor up for discussion!)

I am willing to pay up $7000? I have played on one these guitar many years ago and it has left such a unforgettable memory of the flamenco flair in me and i will be a wondering lost soul with a hole for the rest of my life until I own one myself...Please ..Please..Please..Please..Please..Please ..help!

Someone is selling a R.E. Brune flamenco guitar. I think he is from UK.
Is it this model you are searching for?
Dont know if this guitar is sold already or not.

Tanvir -> RE: R.E Brune (Apr. 2 2007 14:56:19)

Wow . Thanks very much Bikhiyal I will check it out !

Tanvir -> RE: R.E Brune (Apr. 2 2007 15:14:53)

How Beautiful is that WOW ..WOW WOW.WoW!!!!T .Bikhiyal I believe this is not 30 F but an original BRUNE personal model I've just mailed Danny the seller has anyone got any experience this seller? Thank you again for making my day more promising.

Zorro02 -> RE: R.E Brune (Apr. 2 2007 15:19:06)

I purchased the 30-f from this seller

Tanvir -> RE: R.E Brune (Apr. 2 2007 15:43:03)

I really envy you,
….
How is your guitar?
Was the condition as described?
Can Trust this seller?
What payment method did you use ?

I ‘m still awaiting an email response from the seller ...but if all works out then I would probably wire the money providing he really does have such a guitar because the original Brune as described in the above adds are rare Diamonds almost impossible to find .But I would greatly appreciate your opinion on your transaction and the seller Thanks

hhmusic -> RE: R.E Brune (Apr. 2 2007 15:45:26)

yeah, i once also emailed him about it, tanvir. sorry, amigo. it was a 30F and is sold.

since you're willing to go to 7K, you could have Brune build you a 1a - certainly an even better guitar. it would take a few years, as his list is long, but why not get on it? you can always opt out if you find one in the meantime...

good luck.

Tanvir -> RE: R.E Brune (Apr. 2 2007 15:53:52)

Thanks But I've been down that avenue before and R.E BRUNE require most of the moneys (75%) upfront and the rest upon completion.I cant afford to wait 6 years and will he still be around by then? I woud prefer buy his vintage work only which has already matured over the years. I've been advised by many Collectors that his earlier stuff is outstandingly phenomenal. ...Thanks

hhmusic -> RE: R.E Brune (Apr. 2 2007 16:13:45)

i may have a line on an older brune, but 640 scale. send me an email if you want to pursue it.

Tanvir -> RE: R.E Brune (Apr. 2 2007 16:16:57)

Cool Thanks I'm still awaiting a response the GUMTREE seller but please Send me any details you have? ...Thanks

Zorro02 -> RE: R.E Brune (Apr. 2 2007 16:45:36)

Tanvir, if you want this information send me an email.
I would really really hate to be plugging somebody who, is using this forum and it's members as a method of attracting interest to his/her item for sale.
Hope you can understand that and no offence intended.
If you really are interested in the guitar I have purchased I would be more than happy to share those details with you, via e-mail and not on this forum.

Tanvir -> RE: R.E Brune (Apr. 2 2007 16:50:47)

Please Whats your email Zorro? How can I mail you direct .

Zorro02 -> RE: R.E Brune (Apr. 2 2007 20:29:13)

Hi Tanvir,
I have sent you an e-mail with the information you requested. Let me know if the Brune flamenco makes it's way to you and if it does, what you think?

Tanvir -> RE: R.E Brune (Apr. 3 2007 7:25:51)

Thanks! Zorro , I've had a response back from the seller who does not except wire transfers or cheques or paypal and would prefer to use WesternUNION cash transfer? Did you use this method?

What was the condtion of your Brune?

Should you ever want to sell your 30f I beg you to consider me first.

Tanvir -> RE: R.E Brune (Apr. 3 2007 9:17:59)

For all the 30 F lovers

The BRUNE 30F is base on the Marcelo Barbero guitar and I would just like share a article I have found by R.E Brune which is quite an indepth insight into what actually inspired the the 30F
