Has anyone got any good duos for guitar as I'm starting to play with another guiatrist and need some ideas. Anything would be usefull

Hi Fergus!

I have an older Japanese book called "Pasion flamenca" 18 Piezas de la guitarra flamenca"
Autor: de Akira Seta.
There are four pieces for duo's in.
It is only in notewriting, not tablature.

1e Sevillanas popular 1e cejilla : 6 th position
2e cejilla :1th position
looks very nice, advanced player ( my opinion)

2e El Gato Monte- paso doble from Manuel Penella.
not too difficult

3e Malaguena from Ernesto Lecuona
advanced but good to play ( again my opinion..)

4th A tu vera rumba flamenca from R de Leon-Solano
advanced, but if you are used to a little rumba playable.

Hey Fergusito,

Not that it's good or bad, but Paco Serrano has a tangos (el Portillo) that he arranged for 2 guitars (well at least 2). You could try that..It seems like it might be a decent one to try at first since tangos won't have the togher compás.

I don't have it where I happen to be right now, so I can't look it over.

I feel to say this in forum. Some days ago i was looking for the book pasion flamenca (author akira seta). And the dear peter (nick in forum gerundino63) he send me the whole book with mail. dear peter this made me very happy and i want to express a big big thank you in front of all our flamenco friends...You are great person
