New Stephen Hill on the way. I'll let you all know once I've spent some time with her. Can't wait[:)]

Jeez, Jim! How many guitars do you have now?! You're building up quite a collection! I look forward to seeing/hearing the new Hill...

Wow Jim. I'm assuming this will be a blanca? do you only one one Hill? a negra?

Knowing all the high-end guitars you own or have owned, may I ask what you do for a living? I would like to do this too [:D]

JB/Tom

I've known Stephen for seven years or so and believe me, he makes exceptionally fine flamencos. I have a fantastic negra from the time I first met him and this will be a blanca to match. Made en Espana 'La Andaluz' muy flamenco.
Should have her this week sometime.

Here's the website (a bit of promo)
www.olarchitects.com
Needs a bit of work.

Jim, that's an interesting photo of you. You look totaly different than you do from your videos [:D]. Maybe it's the spiked hair you wear for work?

I have to admit, I LOVE FLR's work... I think his"Fallingwater" house is simply AMAZING, and one day, when I'm rich and famous, I hope to buy it and settle down there! [:)]

Thing is, comming from Scotland, if I stayed there the sound of that water would keep me awake all night worrying about roof leaks.

Incidentally, did you know that the big balcony cantilever rises and falls a few inches between winter and summer and that the big stone wall under the bottom terrace was put there to satisfy the local building inspector but it's FLW's bluff, it stops short and does not support the structure[:D]

JBASHORUN -> RE: New guitar (Mar. 12 2007 22:05:51)

LOL, sounds like you've done your homework on FLW, Jim! [:D] Still, as long as its "structurally sound" and looks great, I'd be MORE THAN happy. How many householders can say they have their own waterfall? [8|] And better still, its a "landmark" and iconic design... a "piece of history"...

I guess the modern-day equivalent would be owning a house designed by Richard Rogers or something...

She'll soon be here[:)]

Hugh -> RE: New guitar (Apr. 7 2007 22:15:50)

Jim! I was looking at the jobs section on your website mate [;)]

Now I might be s.h.i.t at designing buildings and all that stuff[&:]

But hey!!! Gie's a joab and I'll look after these guitars with the utmost loving care[:)]

You wont be disappointed [:D]
