I've just read about Gino D'Auri death.
And must admit that this news has (for me) deeply touched me.
He is one of my favourite player, very inspirational and emotional.
Just few sentences about him:
"...Italian by birth, musician by inspiration, Flamenco by fate...."
"He also taught music, telling his students that flamenco was not about playing countless notes as fast as possible. For him it was a way to express feelings and to improvise on traditional flamenco melodies..."
