marc55 -> banus guitars (Feb. 4 2007 22:55:46)

ok - here's a challenge. I bought a guitar in Athens 2 years ago - as a holiday knock about- the man in the shop said it was spanish made. Sounded quite sweet for the price (130 euros) and it's solid enough - it has a truss rod, spruce or pine top and laminate rosewood back and sides, the bridge is glued and screwed on - I know this as a screw came lose within a day and that nice man in the shop screwed it back on!. It has a very high saddle but low enough action, similar to an old taiwanese guitar I once owned. Can anybody help find out where it was made (country, manufacturer etc)? I'm just curious but I hate not knowing about my own guitars - it's probably chinese! Anyway it's a 'Banus' model scg-08 - all info welcome. [:)]
