Now that the winter is here and most of us are heating our homes, I know the humidity drops - sometimes below 35%. What is the best and safest humidifier that you have used or know about? Thanks, everyone!

I think the first step should be to get one of those humidity meters and see what the conditions are. Although it is winter on the east coast where I live, its been rainy and warm here so far, and hasn't been too dry. So I wan't to see what the humidity is first before I go and destroy my guitar.
