legrec -> LIBRARY - Flamenco chords encyclopedia (Dec. 14 2006 10:03:41)

Here is the GP5 file, with all the chords given by Ricardo, Romerito and Mark2 for the "Foroflamenco encyclopedia of flamenco chords":

legrec -> RE: LIBRARY - Flamenco chords encyclopedia (Dec. 14 2006 10:05:16)

Now the PDF file...

Florian -> RE: LIBRARY - Flamenco chords encyclopedia (Dec. 14 2006 10:16:23)

thank you , great stuff legrc

ps. love your photo, never seen such a beautiful guitar in my life

legrec -> RE: LIBRARY - Flamenco chords encyclopedia (Dec. 14 2006 11:19:31)

Florian,
Are you sure you're watching the guitar ?
(I made this collage because I wanted to see how the "soul" of my coming guitar will look like...If it's indeed like this, I will take care of my baby, for sure!)
[;)]

legrec -> RE: LIBRARY - Flamenco chords encyclopedia (Dec. 14 2006 12:09:04)

I must also add that it's not "my stuff". It's first MarkII, Romerito and Ricardo's stuff (sorry if I forget someone).
I simply took on my side the work of putting it in GP5 (Romerito's stuff was already in GP).

But if others want to help and add chords, it will become the foroflamenco community stuff..

I realized that not everybody will have GP version 5, so here is the v4 version.

Note : If someone update the GP file, please change the version number in the sheet properties (it's under File>Sheet properties (or something like that, I have a french version). Like this we'll be able to make a clean collaborative work...

Florian -> RE: LIBRARY - Flamenco chords encyclopedia (Dec. 14 2006 12:13:47)

I know Legrec , i have allready thanked them when they uploaded it, this thank you was directed at you for putting it into pdf.

makes life so much eazyer for me.

legrec -> RE: LIBRARY - Flamenco chords encyclopedia (Dec. 14 2006 12:16:13)

Thanks Florian !![;)]

Jon Boyes -> RE: LIBRARY - Flamenco chords encyclopedia (Dec. 14 2006 12:23:16)

Hmm.. the gp5 version doesn't want to download?

PDF link seems fine though, thanks.

legrec -> RE: LIBRARY - Flamenco chords encyclopedia (Dec. 14 2006 12:51:17)

Hey, I hope the mac version is compatible with PC's !
Here is a new upload, I hope it will work

legrec -> RE: LIBRARY - Flamenco chords encyclopedia (Dec. 14 2006 12:55:55)

Perhaps it's not a problem of GP5 file. I can't download it either, it forwards me to a dead link. Server problem ?
And I can't put a .zip file here if it's a GP5 file problem.
Have any advice, Jon ?

Jon Boyes -> RE: LIBRARY - Flamenco chords encyclopedia (Dec. 14 2006 13:08:12)

No idea I'm afraid. The .gp5 files are supported by the foro, so it should work. You will have to send a message to Simon.

PS in the PDF files you have chords listed under 'B' which are actually B flat.

PPS. The Solea power chord seems to be missing from the E list:

0
0
9
9
7
0

PPPS Move it up a fret for F too.

Damn, now I'm going to be tinkering with this all day [:D]

el ted -> RE: LIBRARY - Flamenco chords encyclopedia (Dec. 14 2006 13:22:58)

Thanks very much for that Mr Legrec.

legrec -> RE: LIBRARY - Flamenco chords encyclopedia (Dec. 14 2006 13:54:23)

You're welcome..

Perhaps the problem comes from my mac version of GP5 ? Maybe the server isn't configured to received these ? Strange because normally there is full compatibility between mac and PC versions of GP. But I guess everyone can work on the GP 4 version, which seems to be working ?

Jon : Thanks for the corrections - I will update it.

el ted -> RE: LIBRARY - Flamenco chords encyclopedia (Dec. 14 2006 13:59:13)

My power chord for solea is-
0
0
1
3
2
0

Wow! That's hard to post upside down.

Jon Boyes -> RE: LIBRARY - Flamenco chords encyclopedia (Dec. 14 2006 14:15:43)

My power chord for solea is-

Thats not a power chord, a power chord contains only root and fifth. You have a major 3rd (G#) and a minor 2nd in there too (F).

el ted -> RE: LIBRARY - Flamenco chords encyclopedia (Dec. 14 2006 14:50:35)

WRONG!!!! I always hit my distortion pedal on that chord, which makes it a power chord.

Ricardo -> RE: LIBRARY - Flamenco chords encyclopedia (Dec. 15 2006 5:28:32)

Thanks a lot for that PDF legrec!

Hate to nit pick your hard work, but you labeled the Bb chords "B", and then you forgot all the actual "B" chords.

And the tabs are great, but when stuff goes into standard notes, my pet peeve is to use proper spelling. But no big deal, the point is to have the tabs referenced, So thanks!

About the E power chord, yeah I guess we missed it. I had this one though if you notice:
0
0
10
9
7
0
Which I use more often instead.[;)]

Ricardo -> RE: LIBRARY - Flamenco chords encyclopedia (Jan. 17 2007 7:01:09)

Good addition on the A phrygian chord. I just remembered a similar chord used a lot arpegiated:

3
3
3
2
0
X

Still waiting for folks to do G# to finish off the chromatic scale. (Think Minera.) I will get you started:

E--x--x--0--4--0--x--2--2--
B--1--x--0--4--4--0--4--4---
G--1--5--6--6--5--3--4--5---
D--1--6--7--7--6--4--x--x---
A--0--0--6--6--0--6--x--x---
E--4--4--4--4--X--4--4--4---

victorconv -> RE: LIBRARY - Flamenco chords encyclopedia (Mar. 9 2007 16:06:55)

Great file men... keep doing well like this.

Thanks

sallvatoflamenca -> RE: LIBRARY - Flamenco chords encyclopedia (Mar. 17 2007 22:50:34)

Hey guys,
Im new here and just looking for some advice for playing..

I thinks Ricardo can help me with this,
for any form of Flamenco that you are playing, in any key it is, all the melodies you play must be for example in the
scale of the key of G?

I THINK THATS A STUPID QEUSTION but still some help please

Doitsujin -> RE: LIBRARY - Flamenco chords encyclopedia (Sep. 16 2007 11:24:32)

I uploaded many chords in past, too. You could include them if they are missing. And whats about scales?
