Exitao -> Audio-Video Recording Appz and Tutorial Sites (Dec. 5 2006 7:20:21)

I've been to a couple of forums that had people asking about apps and conversions and stuff. I've got tonnes of bookmarks to stuff so I thought I'd share some here. I'll probably update this thread as I find more sites and organise my favorites folder. I've also taken pains to only post non-piratical sites so as not to harm our benefactor in any way. So everything I've linked to is legitimate, as far as I know. Generally, I sail under a black flag, so if you're looking for something specific, I probably know where it is. So PM me and we'll talk off-foro. Feel free to add your own resources of course! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Home Recording: http://www.booyaka.com/~al/audio/skills/homerec.html#basic - Very good site with links to many many articles &c http://www.oebook.com/21-1.htm - some recording and multimedia eBooks that look copyright free. Other non-music PC books too. FruityLoops: I had more, but many links have gone dead. http://www.warbeats.com Tutorials, forums, links. Nice site. Even has music theory info. Free Audio and Video Softwares and Codecs: http://www.free-codecs.com/Software.htm Video Capture, Conversion and Authoring: http://www.videohelp.com/ Harmony Central's Software Downloads: http://www.harmony-central.com/Software/Windows/ Audio Editing, Audio Processing, Bass Software, Ear Training Software, Guitar Software, MIDI File Players, MIDI Sequencing/Notation Packages, MIDI Utilities, Patch Editors/Librarians, Software Synthesizers, Sound File Converters, Sound File Players... Transferring LPs to CDR http://www.delback.co.uk/lp-cdr.htm Tutorial, basic but a good start. Also applies to cassettes. That's all for now.
