Paleto -> A guitar method - a not so free book (sorry) (Dec. 15 2003 20:01:51)

I found this guy's page while reading some posts in the Jazz guitar group on Google.

This guy has written a good method book about jazz guitar. I think there are some useful things if you download it and read it.

How many inversions do you guys know? They can be useful in flamenco, especially for accompaniment. they allow you to harmonize melodies in many new ways. There are also suggestions for how to practice certain problematic things.

Although it moves into very advanced topics in places, there's lots of stuff to learn which you can apply to flamenco, some more easily than others.

The point is not to get people charged up about jazz guitar, but to offer you a free opportunity to learn more about music.

Click on Joe's guitar method and read the chapters you like:

Please let me know when you find something fruitful for yourself.

Anthony,
I just went to the site and found this note from Joey Goldstein

Sorry folks but the free ride is finally over. I am no longer offering this book for free.

That's always how my luck goes. [&:]

Oops,

I didn't see that until now. I never saw that.

Damn.

Oh well, it was free.
