How do tab golpes? I've seen various conventions used in books, but I can't find anything recognisable in guitar pro.

use the letter G or a number representing the accented beat.[:)]
Or an X, doesnt it allow you to enter text, I don't know I dont use it though cause it costs money. I think power tab is much more easy to understand, I had guitar pro for a while and didn't like it. But some think it is better than power tab. [:)]

Yeah, I guess that'll have to do. I just hate work-arounds.

Well, let's say we do use an X or a G (I tried using an ascii character for a box or triangle, but the text just showed just as question marks), we have to add a second character to indicate where the golpe lands on the soundboard...
So what should be our new convention?

The other thing is they don't allow for proper classical or flamenco fingering. "T" for thumb? Every text I've found uses P, why do they think they need to reinvent the wheel?
If you need to do a ras including the meñique you can't put the ñ or q with the other fingerings, you can only add text above the staff.
I guess for ras it's easier just to put the fingering above than stack them underneath with no meñique

You can write comments above all tablines. You could use a "*
" or a "G" or "m" or "the ****ing golpe is here"

That defeats the purpose of sheets and tabs. I'm pretty sure that in his later years Beethoven wasn't plonking away at his keyboard to make sure it sounded right.
