Hello,

Yes, you have very good players in Iran. I met a wonderful guitarist this summer in Cordoba, Spain. He name is Kaveh Nasehi. Do you know him? If you do I would like for you to say hello to him. He also has some video footage of me that I would like to have a copy of.

Here is my e-mail: eputigna@yahoo.com

Un saludo, Errol from Florida USA.

Hii,

i know kaveh Nasehi but have not met him until now. You have to know that i live in Germany and these guys are all living in Iran.
However as far as i know kaveh also plays together with Bahram Aghakhan.
They performed together as a duo and also as a trio with another guitarist named Pooya Mahmoodi.

I will try to find kaveh through Bahram and give him your message.
I will let you know.

See you.

Romerito,
Again, not to hijack the thread...
But I have been amazed since the beginning of the Forum, how so many people from various countries, races, religions, ages, occupations etc all join together to share and enjoy this art and take part in civil discussions and friendship and sharing of information etc.
Generally folk tend to have real-life friends based on all of the above being more or less similar.
This, for me anyway, is what makes this Forum a very special part of my life.

cheers

Ron

Fantastic and spirited playing and enthusiasm e.g. real Flamenco!

a_arnold -> RE: Persian Flamenco guitarists (Mar. 13 2007 18:55:40)

I used to play with an Armenian from Iran named Grigor Grigorian -- he was very good (better than I was, Flamenco and classical) but I got drafted during Viet Nam and when I got back we had lost track of each other. He was an engineering student at the University of Maryland in the late 60's. I run occasional web searches, but haven't been able to find him. He would be in his 60's now. If anyone knows where he is, I'd appreciate a tip. We were long-standing good friends and I shouldn't have let a war separate us.
