Hi All,

here is a Video from one of my favourite flamenco guitarists Chicuelo.

The file is big (about 50 MB) WMV format. About 3.5 min. in length.
But it is high quality.

It is a Taranta from the concert with Miguel Poveda and Duquende but i only recorded the taranta guitar parts with movie maker.

The part you loaded is Granaina.
Before Poveda sings, and he sings Granaina. Then after that he changes key for Duquende, indeed to Taranta key.

Is this also a part from Qawwali Flamenco with Faiz Ali Faiz?
I'm asking this, because there is a DVD available from this concert and I'm thinking of buying it.

I dont' think so. This is a full length recital (50 minutes) of just the trio. Interestingly, they interview Poveda and Duquende between numbers, and you can hear that Indian group and the singer singing in the background. Perhaps they met at this festival (in Arles France) and later did the Qawwali project. But I am guessing.

Thanks for uploading that. I still have only seen bits and pieces of this recital. But I am beggining to think that this recital is from the qawwali flamenco tour. This is probably film that didn't make it onto the Dvd. Thats what dissapointed me about that dvd-- there was only like one or two flamenco peices on it. Not much there. Mabey they are going to use some of this film on Duquende's dvd.
