Is there a right way to clean and polish my new guitar?
It is french polish
I play lots and It seems to scratch easy... I wanna try to take care of this baby
Is there a special polish to use?
Any comments PLEASE

Yes French Polish scratches easy. Best thing to do is to be carefull when playing and not make golpes outside the tap plate, Take care with trousers with metal buttons, belts etc, use a cloth while playing, and after playing carefully clean away sweatmarks with a CLEAN and soft cloth.

I will strongly recommend that you DONT use any kind of polish.

One of the best things with respect of FP is that it can be repaired and reapplied quite easily with a very high quality result.

Anders quote above is the most important thing. Those micro fiber cloths work the best. I hope your not talking about the JPR.
I've had mine for ~ 2 years now, and not a scratch on it(knock on Cypress).

Accidents happen, but you just have to be careful. Also, if it's the same as mine, that super blonde shellac will not be easy to match. Be careful.

By the way, NO POLISH OF ANY KIND.....EVER!!!!!!!

Yes I am talking about my new JPR
I am now only realizing how fragile french polished guitars are
nothing serious has happened
but I play hard for the dancers sometimes
After a year Ill need a new one ...or Ill have to use my
Ricardo Carpaio for accompany
Too bad cuz this guitar sounds great
