This is such an awesome rendition of Vals No.3 Opus 8 by Barrios. He is not PdL but he can play the guitar too...checkout the harmonics hehe. And how he grabs those barres ...
If you search there is another vid from David Russell from this song.

Oh very nice!
He was tutored by Juan Serrano too.

Youtube is becoming such a great resource.

The David Russell(that is on the that video list also) version is amazing as well. I have a number of his albums and he is one of my favourite guitarists.
He does a Celtic album which is fantastic. He is a fellow Scot like myself. Although brought up in Spain.

I think bach and barrios music is really good to practice flamenco exercises.

LoL, i dont know if you can regard those full pieces of music as an exercize for flamenco. But maybe you meant the technique required, or playing stlye for them are similar to flamenco? Yeah i think i understand what you wanna say. Barrios is somehow different from other classical. I dont know, more "emotional"?
Why am I askin? Who cares? I love Bach! Da-di-do-di da-da, Di-do-di-da-da... learning a minuet in minor at the moment.
But it would be much cooler to be able to play it on piano. We have only the thumb, one single note for the bass, piano has 3,4,5
