It accured to me, it might be fun to have a thread like this, and I've noticed how much these help our playing.

This first one is an Alegrias 7 8 9 10 remate falseta. Chusco taught me this one.

Any body else got a good one.

It's fun to make the arppegio part 6 notes instead of 4, but it's harder hahha.

Florian give me a good one I know you got one.

Is there a name for the 7 8 9 10 remate thing.

Did you get power tab, I hope so if not I'll post it.

Do you mean something like this?

Sorry for the bad quality, but I don't know how to do this with powertab (and don't have the time to learn it).

Edgar:

Here is a simple Alegrias I'm learning and it just may have some things in it you're looking for. I don't have PowerTab so I put it in .pdf. It was so long I had to bust it up in to two parts. I also put it up in Gp5 (part 3)

Part 1:

Gecko -> RE: Remates and small falsetas (join in) (Sep. 24 2006 13:16:38)

Alegrias Part 2:

Alegrias Part 3 in gp5:

Gecko: What tab program do you use ?

Gecko -> RE: Remates and small falsetas (join in) (Sep. 24 2006 13:56:01)

Normally, I don't use tabs. The music I learn I usually transcribe into standard notation using Finale Guitar with rhythmic notation for the Ras's, chording compas', etc. However, so much of the flamenco stuff here and other places is tabbed I have now purchased GuitarPro 5, which will allow me to download many different formats, but only has a few options for converting and saving. Unfortunately, .ptb is not one of them, or I have not found a way to do it.

koella -> RE: Remates and small falsetas (join in) (Sep. 24 2006 14:29:02)

I'm sure you know that, in Finale Guitar, you can change standard notation into TAB-only with just one mouse-click ? And vice-versa.

edgar884 -> RE: Remates and small falsetas (join in) (Sep. 24 2006 14:42:44)

Great keep them coming, hey GuxDiBUx what palos is that, Alegrias.[:)]

Thanx for joining in folks.

Let, me think of a good one, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Morning folks. You know last night I was thinkin to myself why does some of my stuff sound very Flamenco and some not, well for one, I'm still new, but two, I think I have been playing guitar with my fingers instead of gravity, which apparently has a lot to do with FLamenco tone, what do you guys think.

I will think of a Falseta give me a second.

I did another version of some Bulerias I'm doing, trying to find my sound but with a true Flamenco tone, it's so hard. I know I'm getting closer to finding the spanish in me though, well you know maybe in ten years hahahahaaa.

I love this one, it's a Tangos Falseta, not to hard but fun and creepy sounding, my favorite.

edgar884 -> RE: Remates and small falsetas (join in) (Sep. 24 2006 14:46:12)

So far were getting some good stuff, Koella you got something, how about a short alegrias Alzapua, I only know one and I have the one you posted for me, but it's kinda hard for me.. Or what ever you want. Thanx Gecko those look really sweet. I'm waiting for the family to leave and then I get to try some of this stuff.

I found some good exercises and intermediate stuff to practice today, can't wait.

Gecko -> RE: Remates and small falsetas (join in) (Sep. 24 2006 15:49:24)

Yes, but you can only save in .MUS or MIDI format. Still no way to get it into .ptb that I know of. Anyway, it will be several more years before I would have the courage to put-up something of my own, let alone an MP3 recording. [:'(]

koella -> RE: Remates and small falsetas (join in) (Sep. 24 2006 16:12:55)

Gecko, I was curious if you were right, so I di some research[8D]

It works !

Do this.

1 Make a tab in finale.
2 choose "save as"in the file menu.
3 change the extension in "midi" and save the file
4 open a new ptb document
5 choose "import midifile" in the file menu and import the midifile.
6 Et voila

You don't have to thank me, I'm glad I can use this option from now on[:D]

edgar884 -> RE: Remates and small falsetas (join in) (Sep. 24 2006 16:28:02)

Florian sorry bud didn't mean to ignore you., hummmm, when you have time, gohead and practice your ass off for the show man. Maybe a Solea por Bulerias falseta with a cool 78910remate thing.

lET MY TRY IT HOLD ON.

edgar884 -> RE: Remates and small falsetas (join in) (Sep. 24 2006 18:22:47)

So thats your idea, yes sure it's simple but it works, you could spice it up. [:D]

Gecko -> RE: Remates and small falsetas (join in) (Sep. 24 2006 19:55:43)

Thanks Koella!!!

Same process seems to work for GuitarPro as well, though I have not thoroughly checked it out. Good stuff to know. [:)] I have a lot of things in Finale in standard notation which I prefer to use, but would eventually like to get it into some form of tablature that can be posted here.

Thanks again.

Sorry for the constant hijacks Gabe.

koella -> RE: Remates and small falsetas (join in) (Sep. 24 2006 20:02:22)

Well it's nice to meet someone who also uses Finale Guitar. I think it's an awesome program.

The only thing I miss in it is that you can't add pictures or photo's.
Or is it possible ?
