Whatever happened to Pepe De Lucia (Paco's brother)? I mean whats he up to? I found an old compilation CD with one of his songs on it recently, but thats about it. Can't seem to find any new albums released by him. So what has Pepe been doing all this time? I did hear that he once was writing songs for Camaron, but that must have been ages ago. I think maybe Pepe got over-shadowed by Paco, no?

Hes released a few albums i gues it must have its good and bad points beeing Paco's brother.

To me he is kind of typecast, i mean his voice is synonumus with Pacos, hits expecially "Solo quiero caminar"

so whenever I hear his voice i cant imagine hearing another guitarist accompaning him, even tho hes done stuff with everyone including Vicente.

According to esflamenco he is also is a producer and discovered 'El Potito'. Apparently he took up singing again in 2000 - his last album was 2002.

I absolutely love his singing on 'Live, One summer night' although on the album Caminar it sounds a bit reedy or something!

Although I noticed that if you actually click on the albums to view the details, they are all "unavailable" or "out of print".

But Flamenco World seems to have Pepe's album with Paco and Ramon, so I might check that one out.

BTW, Florian... Pepe and Vicente Amigo?! what album is that on?

Thanks Jacqeline, might be worth a listen. Although "Flamencoising" Argentinian Tangos? I'm not sure. If anyone has heard this album please let us know what its like!
