What happened to Emma? Haven't seen her around here in a very long time. Hope she is well.

I think that might be her. I remember Rafael Lopez from Cadiz had built her a guitar.

Yes! that's Emma - 'El Craic on Foro'.
Emma's still playing but a bit busy now, something to do with surfing in Ireland. Better she explain.

Jim.

That's her, 'El Craic'. If you talk to her, tell her to drop by and visit. So many new members since she was last here.

Is the surf good in Ireland???

chinito -> RE: Where is Emma? (Jul. 31 2006 8:07:08)

I didn't realize Emma was on this forum. Met her in Jerez last year. Really nice person and plays really well. Last I heard from her was a while ago and she mentioned surfing in Cadiz whenever she gets the chance.

El Craic -> RE: Where is Emma? (Jul. 31 2006 13:47:43)

Oh blimey, I'm really sorry. I just got an email from Chinito who I met in Jerez last March who actually does play really well in that nice place of confidence without arrogance and is fortunate to have a good flamenco base to grow with in Canada. I am ashamed to be getting a reputation as a surfer. It is physically and mentally challenging enough to appeal to the same sort of person who'd get obsessed with learning flamenco guitar.

We are a bit thin on the ground here in with our flamenco. Apart from me probably being in love or something, one of our team sadly was taken very ill last autumn. Sean OB will be pleased to hear that Roland was looking a lot stronger a couple of Friday's back when we met up at his house and we had a lot of fun just playing Roland's own self-built guitars.

Any gossip?

Promise I'll drop by again soon :-)
