Hi Branquito

thanks for your post

The reason I want this piece is not any attempt to be like PDL......he has a style which is his own and I have no wish to copy his style, there are elements within music which are interesting to me, where a guitarist is on the neck to achieve a certain tone or overtone interests me, how many notes are being played..can the same sound be achieved by just playing the notes elsewhere. I read music and wonder why the same note on the stave is played on 2 strings yet logically its easier to play it on one, a simple example which I have found common is open e played on the 5th fret on the B string then on the open e in a triplet, I listen, play and try to improve.

PDL does not interest me, his musical style does, without wishing to upset his fans I see more Jazz in his music than I possibly should but thats my background.

I make no pretence about playing PDL, within this style of music its better to walk than run, Compas is everything, but I will not close my ears to musical possibilities.

If you have recommendations as to who would be suitable and what pieces I should listen to I am always open to suggestions. I think my interest is in Flamenco Puro rather than the jazz side of things although I think there is alot to be gained from both areas.

Regards

Gary
