MKodji -> Manuel Reyes Hijo (Jul. 20 2006 3:56:48)

To all who have played a Reyes. I might be able to buy a Manuel Reyes Hijo. Has anyone played it before? If yes, how is it? How much should I expect for a new one in US $? How different is it from Manuel Reyes Sr?

Please Help

Mike

Hi MKodji

If you can aford it, and the guitar is in good condition i would buy it. You cannot loose if you buy a Reyes guitar. Its said that the guitars made by Manuel Reyes Junior are built to the same specs as those made by his father. It's said that they are nearly indistinguishable. However i doubt that his student guitars are built by himself. The student models might have another class but i think they are still good guitars.

Thanks Armando,

They are asking $9K-$10K for a Reyes Jr. Is it reasonable or should I bargain for a new one?

Thanks again,

Mike

Hi Sean,

Was it that bad? Can you elaborate more? I know previously you said that "Huge" is not the word for the difference between father and Son guitars! Can you explain it for me.

Thanks for your help

Mike
