Exitao -> Guitar Accompanying Guitar (Jul. 17 2006 5:47:10)

What's the deal with this? How does it work?

When I listen to guitar accompanying cante it seems to be that the guitar plays some kind of rythm during the cante and plays call and answer to the cate during the breaks between lyrics.

But with guitar and guitar it generally seems that they are almost always playing the same thing, but in different octaves. Probably, from what I've read here, with one using a capo. Sometimes there's a little variation or ornamentals thrown in by the second guitar, I think.
There must be more to it than that, right? I'm still new to all this so I figure I must be missing lots of details.

Can one of you old pros explain how things usually work, what the various methods of guitar accompanying guitar is for me?

I figure it helps to know what you're listening to if you have an idea of what they might be doing first...

This is just some basic solea chording for a letra.
I didn´t put any sofisticated stuff in it. just chords of the top off my head
Also the letras i´ve put in it isn´t writen rytmicaly since i don´t know where they should be.
