So you know how to make guitars. But when you make a guitar what are you making it from? I don't mean materials.
Do you simply work off the plance? Do you have an ideal in mind or what the perfect flamenco guitar is suposed to sound like? Do you make it to fit a buyer? Or are the great luthiers just such great artists that the personality of the buyer is unimportant; he's just blessed to have the chance to buy one?
If a buyer comes to you for a guitar, how much input do you expect, tolerate or desire?
