XXX -> Important: Sad Bulerias (May 31 2006 21:50:37)

I was playing with my teacher and we played a sad Bulerias from Morente (I think), which he unfortunately didnt remember, but its not that important anyway.

I liked it so much, that I wanted to ask here, if you know other examples of sad Bulerias? Modern, traditional doesnt matter, but preferably without cante.

It was really a cool mood, especially when it changed into Gm chord. And it was a new experience, since all Bulerias I know where everything but sad (correction: There are some of Carmen Amaya, but they are bit too fast...).

I had this exact same problem with a Tiento accompanyment at a very slow 60bpm. Everything I tried to play was just too fast and sounded horrible. I was forced to come up with something of my own (an idea I should start getting used to) and suddenly found myself in a siguiriya. So I looked around for siguiriyas and transposed a couple into 4/4 rhythm. That worked very well for me, maybe you could try something like that?
