Ok, my problem is I need to record my lessons and I have bought a digital voice recorder for ~$50 and it is the biggest piece of crap out there. I want to be able to record my lessons (and anything else for that matter) and be able to hear all the notes distinctly whereas right now it sounds like a garbled mess, partly due to my playing[;)].

Does anyone have any recommendations? I hear that minidisc recorders are ok, know of any that are good?

Todd

They are the way to go for their cost, if you can get a used one. Sony make some nice ones.

Buy the portable M-Audio MicroTrack 24/96 for $350 (shipping included). It's worth it.
