Andy Culpepper -> Cedar/Indian negra finished (Sep. 16 2026 17:32:50) This is an unusual wood combination for me but I think it sounds nice. Would sound great with more modern stuff too of course. Ricardo -> RE: Cedar/Indian negra finished (Sep. 17 2026 14:36:14) beautiful looking. Sound is great, just exactly like traditional spruce and cypress!!![:D][:D] And that slightly wavy Indian rosewood is exactly why I always thought Paco's main guitar was Indian rosewood rather than the claimed Pau ferro.

Andy Culpepper -> RE: Cedar/Indian negra finished (Sep. 18 2026 3:08:21) Thanks guys. Ricardo you're hilarious man, but I honestly can't entirely disagree with you. This guitar does sound puzzlingly blanca-esque [:D]

constructordeguitarras -> RE: Cedar/Indian negra finished (Sep. 30 2026 2:15:02) A really nice looking guitar, Andy. Superb craftsmanship. I like your interpretation of a Santos Hernandez rosette design.

Andy Culpepper -> RE: Cedar/Indian negra finished (Oct. 3 2026 19:28:48) Thanks guys. The rosette is inspired by (basically copied from) Javier Molina's Santos. That's why I played a falseta associated with Javier Molina...if you caught that you get a gold star in flamenco guitar nerdery.

Stu -> RE: Cedar/Indian negra finished (Oct. 7 2026 8:46:55) awesome man! listening through headphones but sounds great and those rasguados at about 00:50 sounded amazing! the guitar just came alive!
