The part from @ 1:00 -> 1:05 is giving me the most trouble.
The Db flat note that's played @ 1:01 and @ beat 10+ [i.e the 8th note of beat 10] rests for 2 beats until the arpeggio starts @ 6+ [I am counting in sixes].
This long gap is throwing me off because I am not able to utilize index upstrokes to keep time as the music emphasizes the silence between the 2 notes.
Currently using an internal mnemonic "dhe-ta-ka-ta" where dhe is 10+ and I am immediately starting with the arpeggio after the final "ta" [dhe=10+, ta = 11, ka = 11+ & ta = 6]
Works great until tempos >190bpm where internally speaking this mnemonic becomes more difficult due to the fast tempo. Seeking advice or tricks to tackle this?

I don't need a tutorial for the whole thing because I already learned it on my own. The specific phrase in the post is the only one I am somewhat struggling with [:)]

well Luciano at 1:05 plays the C# after 4 then the octave C# after 6. That is the same rhythm related to the two beats, if you count 16ths "1e&ah, 2e&ah, 3e&ah", then practice just doing those two notes on the "e" after each beat. As it happens in the piece, you do the low C# at 3"e", then the octave on third string at 1"e" and continue.
However in the original I hear a power chord on the 3"e" (after count 4) as C#G#C# all at once. Very quietly it affords you a continued contra tiempo between counts 5 and 6 with a very soft G# fourth string then the C# after 6 a bit louder. I think I hear that actually the second time he does it. Also I would do the G#F#B as a barre at 4th right before the C# power chord, which is different than Luciano is doing.

So filling the gap with a note on 11+. That's a fantastic idea. Eventually, with the right dynamics, I think we could make that note so subtle that it still feels like there’s complete silence between 10+ and 6+, while retaining that underlying pulse. Thanks for the help Ricardo!
