12850bd -> caracafe solea (Aug. 1 2026 3:45:16) Just been watching this nice solea by emilio caracafe . Does anyone know the thumb hammer pattern ? ....starts at beginning. Seem like a hammer before the accents but hard to hear even slowed down.

metalhead -> RE: caracafe solea (Aug. 1 2026 7:53:35) he's just repeating the same notes using a one string alzapua. the first compas starts as a 16th note: 1 e & a | 2 e & a | 3 | 4 e & a | 5 e & a | 6 & | ... And the next one starts as triplets.

Ricardo -> RE: caracafe solea (Aug. 1 2026 16:58:36) the mechanism of the thumb is galloping 1, &ah2, &ah3, etc. Thumb is down, then down-upstroke on the D string. The "e" of straight 16th notes (1e&ah,2 etc) is filled in at times by the left hand hammering on the string "from nowhere".
