I have a seam down the middle of my right nail that will always
split if left untreated.

I have used silk and super glue, it works ok but doesn't last.

I'm now using gel and UV light which works better and lasts longer.

Does anyone use Guitar Player Nails or other method to recommend?

A search of nails shows the last post to be in 2013 which I found
to be surprising.

I'm currently using Orly Nail Defense. I have weak nails. It seems to have helped, I like it, and will continue to use it. It dries quickly. It feels very slightly soft for a day but gets a bit harder after that. I feel it has nourished and strengthened my nails after using it for a few weeks.

I use Guitar Player Nails only for emergencies, and then only on my P. I sometimes have to use muslin and superglue on my A to reinforce it because of golpes.

As always, a healthy diet helps a lot, and I don't mean what the USA and UK governments tell you what is a healthy diet, I mean an evidence-based healthy diet like ZOE or BANT, and not influenced by the food industry.

I understand your problem. My nails are very weak, so I don't dare to practice guitar much.
